Day 1:
Haridwar to Sagar Village

Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Haridwar to Sagar Village (2,000m), the base point of the Rudranath trek. Along the way, witness the sacred confluences of Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag, where revered rivers like Alaknanda, Bhagirathi, and Mandakini merge, creating a divine atmosphere.

  • Drive Duration: 8-10 hours

Day 2:
Trek from Sagar Village to Mauli Kharak

After a hearty breakfast, the trek begins from Sagar through a serene yet challenging trail passing dense oak, rhododendron, and deodar forests. As you ascend, enjoy panoramic views of the Garhwal ranges, the crisp mountain air, and the enchanting sounds of nature.

  • Trek Distance: 8-10 km

  • Elevation: 3,200m

  • Terrain: Gradual ascent through lush forests and Himalayan meadows.

  • Stay: Shared tented accommodation at Mauli Kharak.

  • Meals: Nutritious local meals prepared at the campsite.

Day 3:
Trek from Mauli Kharak to Rudranath Temple

Today’s trek takes you to the sacred Rudranath Temple (3,600m), the most remote of the Panch Kedar shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. The route passes through Pitradhar, a spiritually significant ridge believed to be a resting place for departed souls. The final stretch offers mesmerizing views of Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, and Hathi Parvat.

  • Trek Distance: 7-8 km

  • Highlights: Temple rituals, serene Himalayan landscapes, spiritual ambiance.

  • Stay: Overnight camping near the temple under the starlit sky.

  • Meals: Traditional Himalayan vegetarian meals.

Day 5:
Sagar Village to Haridwar

After breakfast, bid farewell to the majestic Himalayas and begin the drive back to Haridwar. Enjoy the last glimpses of the Garhwal region, passing through charming towns like Chamoli and Rudraprayag before reaching Haridwar by evening.

  • Drive Duration: 8-10 hours

  • Final Blessings: Stop at Rudraprayag or Devprayag for one last moment of spiritual reflection before concluding the journey.
